Terms
Terms and conditions for SyncRoom
Operator and location
SyncRoom is operated from Japan. A public mailing address is not currently published for the service.
Use of the platform
SyncRoom is a watch-party and room-hosting platform. By using it, you agree to use the service lawfully, respect other participants, and avoid abusive, infringing, fraudulent, or disruptive behavior.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for the credentials and activity associated with your account. Guest access may be available for public rooms, but hosts can still moderate or remove disruptive participants.
Hosted content and links
Hosts and participants are responsible for the URLs, videos, chat, and external content they share in rooms. SyncRoom can facilitate synchronized access and discussion around that media, but it does not pre-screen every item, does not store shared source videos or webcam streams as hosted content on its own servers, and is not responsible for copyright issues arising from materials users choose to share. Use of the platform does not grant rights to redistribute copyrighted material.
Prohibited content and conduct
Content or behavior involving nudity, graphic violence, racist or hateful abuse, targeted harassment, insulting or attacking faiths or religions, unlawful material, or repeated profane abuse is not permitted on SyncRoom. Users must also avoid threats, impersonation, spam, and other conduct that makes the service unsafe or unusable for others.
Moderation
Hosts and platform administrators may moderate rooms, reject requests, remove audience members, issue warnings, suspend access, apply temporary or permanent bans, and investigate reports to keep the service usable and safe. Enforcement decisions may be based on room activity, user reports, repeat violations, or legal and safety concerns.
Availability
The service may change, pause, or remove features over time. We may also suspend access when needed for maintenance, safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SyncRoom after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to the service will be handled in Japan, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
Contact
Questions about these terms should be sent through the support or contact channel made available inside the service. If a dedicated legal contact email is published later, this page will be updated.
